Dominion

A group of paintings which are displayed linked with each other, following vertical and horizontal axes which create an irregular chain, in a similar fashion to the pieces in a game of dominoes. The order of the pieces presents several museographic possibilities, since they can be adapted to specific spaces, thus allowing different combinations of form and meaning.

As an ensemble, Dominion has been exhibited in several cultural places and has been the object of various critical texts: an introductory text by architect Juan Martín Cárdenas, director of CANTE, Centro de las Artes San Luis Potosí, one by the artist and semiologist Humberto Chávez Mayol, another by art critic Teresa del Conde and the presentation text for this very exhibition in the University of Guanajuato, written by art historian Erik Castillo.

This nucleus includes a group of 39 paintings.
